susirinkimai, parengimai, minėjimai, koncertai, Paguodos telefonas, LB

pasitarkit su LB Krašto valdyba ir įsteikite naują LB apylinkę. Taip per keletą
porą pastarųjų metų atsirado naujos LB apylinkės Texas, Missouri, Florida,
Illinois ir North Carolina valstijose. Keturios iš naujųjų LB apylinkų buvo
įsteigtos trečiabangių.

LAC activities are conducted in Lithuanian, where possible, but English-speaking
members are welcome. In fact, LAC is looking for entrepreneurial individuals to
start English-speaking sections at the local LAC chapters.
When you join LAC, you will get involved in folk dancing (and participating in
Lithuanian Folkdance Festivals), singing (people are still talking about the
superb Lithuanian Song Festival in Chicago July 2006, now available on DVD),
learning Lithuanian language and culture (start by subscribing to Bridges),
sending your children to Lithuanian heritage summer camps, participating in
sports meets, going to concerts and exhibits by Lithuanian artists. LAC
interests are as varied as LAC members and extend across the Atlantic to
Lithuania by way of civic and charitable projects work as well as participation
of five members of the LAC Board of Directors in the work of the Lithuanian
Parliament-Lithuanian World Community Commission in Vilnius.
So, add some Lithuanian sparkle to your American life and forge new bonds of
camaraderie and friendship with others of Lithuanian descent.
