The Forum will take place 10:00 – 14:00 hours at the „Forum Palace“ (Konstitucijos ave., 26, 2000, Vilnius, Lithuania)

The aim of the Forum - to discuss business opportunities with Lithuania‘s business leaders and Government officials; and to provide an opportunity for the networking among the US and Lithuania business representatives

Opening remarks: by H.E. John Tefft, Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Lithuania, and H.E. Vygaudas Ušackas, Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the United States of America.

Presentations by:

• Mr. Remigijus Kabečius, Director General of LDA („Business and investment opportunities in Lithuania“),

• Mr. Rolandas Valiūnas, Managing Partner of the Law Firm „Lideika, Petrauskas, Valiūnas ir Partneriai“(„Legal aspects of doing business in Lithuania“),

• Mr. Antanas Zabulis, President of telecommunication company „Omnitel“ („Private and Public Partnership“),

• Mr. Artūras Zuokas, Mayor of Vilnius („Vilnius: discovering the best kept business secret in Europe“),

• Dr. Bronislavas Lubys, President of Confederation of Lithuanian Industrialists (“Opportunities and challenges for Lithuanian exports“),

• Mr. Viktoras Butkus, Chairman & CEO of Fermentas International Inc. (Canada) („Success story of Fermentas“),

• Mr. Rolandas Barysas, Chief Editor of Daily „Verslo žinios“(„Reasons for failures and successes in making business in Lithuania: the media point of view“).

The keynote address during the working luncheon will be given by Mr. Algirdas Brazauskas, Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania.

The Forum will be followed by individual and/or industry group meetings after the lunch.
