XVI Board of Directors Meeting, Third Session - Overview
The 2002 Lithuanian-American Community XVI Board of
Directors meeting, Third Session will take place September 21 and 22, 2002
in Washington, D.C., in the Marriot
Washington Hotel,
1221 22nd. Street NW. The Awards
Gala will take place September 21, 2002.
Preceding the Board of Directors Meeting, on
September 20, 2002, A
Public Advocacy Day will take place (agenda),
as well as the opening of an amber exposition and an
evening reception.
The nearest airport is
Reagan National Airport.
Taxi fares cost approximately $13 plus $1.50 for each
additional passenger. The
"Super Shuttle" may
be more economical if you are traveling alone.
Registration information and forms are available in
the adjoining table. Please complete the
registration forms and provide them together with your registration fee to
Rūta Kalvaityte-Skučiene by August 26, 2002.
The registration fee is $165. Please make your check out to
"Lithuanian American Community, Inc."
The Washington Chapter is planning excursions for
guests, so we urge you to bring your wives or husbands and other family
members and guests. The excursions will cost approximately $20 and
the banquet will cost $65.
