The Eleventh Annual Baltic Studies Summer Institute (BALSSI)
will offer intensive Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian language instruction
at two levels-- elementary and 2nd-year (intermediate). Classes meet daily
for nine weeks, four hours per day. BALSSI will be held concurrently with
the National Institute of Summer Scandinavian Studies at the University of
Washington, Seattle, June 21 to August 20, 2004. Application deadlines:
Financial Aid-- February 1, 2004;
Admission-- June 1, 2004.
